Romania's authorities inform about restrictions of movement for vehicles weightier than 7.5 tons

Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Customs Service of Moldova has informed that restrictions of movement were established for the vehicles with the maximal authorized mass bigger than 7.5 tons all over Romania, except for the counties of Harghita, Neamt, Suceava and Botosani, on 29-31 July 2021, in the time interval 12:00-20:00.  

The measure was adopted, in order to prevent irreversible major deformations which can appear on the roads’ network as effect of the movement of weighty vehicles in conditions of hot weather.  

To avoid inconveniences, the Customs Service urges goods carriers to take into account the situation emerged and notifies that additional information on the state of the network of national roads from Romania can be got from the Dispatch Office of the Romanian National Company of Highways Roads at the phone numbers 004021/264.33.33; 004021/9360 or by accessing the webpage www.cnadnr.ro.
