Warnings of atmospheric instability, heat active in Moldova

Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has informed about a Yellow Code of atmospheric instability for today.

According to meteorologists, thunderstorm rains are expected till 30 July, heavy ones in places (15-20 mm per one square metre), accompanied by strong wind, gusting up to 15-20 metres/second.

At the same time, till 1 August, Yellow Code of hot weather is maintained in Moldova and the air temperature will increase up to +35 Celsius degrees during the day and will drop to +23 degrees at night.

In case of Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecast meteorological phenomena are usual for Moldova; yet, they may temporarily become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
