Ambassador of Sweeden ends diplomatic mission in Moldova

Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu had a meeting with Ambassador of Sweden to Moldova Anna Lyberg today, on the occasion of the end of her mandate.

According to the presidential press service, the head of state expressed appreciation for her entire activity as head of the Swedish diplomatic in Chisinau.

„I highlighted the substantial and efficient personal involvement of Mrs. Lyberg in the development and deepening of the cooperation between our countries, both at the bilateral level and in the support and promotion of our European agenda,’’ Maia Sandu said.

In the context, the sides discussed the immediate priorities of Moldova and the way Sweden might support the country in continuation on the way of its democratization and development. ‘’Her Excellency Anna Lyberg assured me that we would enjoy every support and commitment of Sweden for our reforms’ agenda,’’ President Maia Sandu added.
