As many as 154 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 30 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 6,077 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 154 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which three import ones. As many as 259,356 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), three out of all new cases registered today are among medical employees: two physicians and one medical assistant.

As many as 282 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 48 are in extremely serious condition (13 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 825 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 24,418 are under supervision at home.

Another 117 people have been treated. As many as 251,967 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another two deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,255 people have died of coronavirus in all.
