As many as 122 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 31 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,603 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 122 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which six import ones. As many as 259,478 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), one out of all new cases registered today is among medical employees: one medical assistant.

As many as 365 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 55 are in extremely serious condition (12 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 807 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 24,600 are under supervision at home.

Another 84 people have been treated. As many as 252,051 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
