As many as 71 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 1 August /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,493 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 71 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 259,549 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none out of all new cases registered today is among medical employees.

As many as 266 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 58 are in extremely serious condition (13 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 861 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 24,934 are under supervision at home.

Another 53 people have been treated. As many as 252,104 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
