Moldova beach soccer team wins Euroleague Soccer Beach, Division B tournament

Chisinau, 2 August /MOLDPRES/- The national beach soccer team of the Republic of Moldova has won the Euroleague Soccer Beach tournament, Division B, held for the first time in Chisinau.

The Moldovans won the final match played in front of the Estonian national team with the score of 4-1. The match took place on the arena in the "La Izvor" park, where the Chisinau City Hall built, together with the Moldovan Football Federation, the arena for beach soccer.

In this tournament, our national team won all matches, and Andrei Negara was chosen best player of the competition.

11 teams participated in the Euroleague Soccer Beach tournament, Division B. Moldova, Estonia, Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, Greece, Slovakia and Lithuania, along with Turkey (last ranked in Division A qualifiers) will play in the final promotion tournament in the upper echelon, which will take place in the resort of Figuiera Da Foz (Portugal) on September 9-12. They will be divided into two groups. The champion of Division B (final phase) will be established on the Portuguese beach, which will obtain the right to promote in Division A, the European elite of beach soccer.
