Gagauz governor thanked Romania for support

Chisinau, 4 August /MOLDPRES/- Gagauz governor Irina Vlah met today with Daniel Ioniță, Romania's Ambassador to Moldova.
The meeting focused on evolution of the construction works of the new block of the Mihai Eminescu High School in Comrat.
Vlah approached the results of the visit to Iasi and the discussion with the mayor of the locality, Mihai Chirica. The sides decided to analyze the practical possibilities for cooperation and support for autonomy in the development of the IT sector and in the industrialization of the economy.
Vlah thanked Ioniță for supporting the initiatives of Gagauzia authorities, meant to improve the living standards of the region's inhabitants.
"We are grateful to the Government of Romania for the support provided in the development of the educational system. Kindergartens and schools are important elements of social infrastructure, and their development helps convince people to link their future to Gagauzia. We will learn from our colleagues in Romania how to develop the IT sector and attract investment in the industrialization of the economy - in these areas Romania is a recognized leader ", Irina Vlah said.
