Selemet village, Cimişlia, open for new regional partnerships

Chisinau,5 August /MOLDPRES/- In order to strengthen the partnership between the South Regional Development Agency (ADR) and the local public administration (APL), Olga Gorban, the new director of ADR Sud initiated a program of knowledge visits and information on the activity of local authorities in Southern Development Region.

The first visit of this kind took place in Selemet, where Gorban and Tatiana Badan, mayor of Selemet village, Cimişlia district, and head of the Congress of Local Authorities of Moldova discussed the role of APL in regional development.

The willingness of ADR Sud to initiate new partnerships and provide the necessary support to the authorities in attracting investments was also emphasized.

Despite some difficulties encountered by local authorities in the complex process of regional development, the discussions agreed on common objectives and the need to strengthen actions aimed at achieving the proposed targets.
