Moldovan foreign minister to visit Bucharest

Chisinau, 9 August /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration today met Romanian Ambassador to Moldova Daniel Ioniță.
According to the MAEIE press service, the officials approached ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, deepen and expand the Strategic Partnership for European Integration of Moldova and further develop special Moldovan-Romanian special relations. In this context, they referred to the preparation in the near future of a working visit to Bucharest.
At the same time, the deputy premier noted that the implementation of projects in energy infrastructure, transport and communications, advancing joint initiatives in social, cultural and educational sectors are important in promoting an active foreign policy with Romania in the context of marking 30 years establishing diplomatic relations.
