Memorandum on mutual recognition of diplomas from Moldova, Romania approved

Chisinau, 11 August /MOLDPRES/- The Cabinet of Ministers in Bucharest approved Memorandum on signing of the Agreement between the Governments of Romania and the Republic of Moldova on the mutual recognition of diplomas, certificates and scientific titles. The project was approved at today's meeting, according to Adrian Dupu, secretary of state at the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova of the Bucharest Executive.

The new Agreement between the Government of Romania and the Government of the Republic of Moldova on the mutual recognition of diplomas, certificates and scientific titles includes the following aspects: recognition of certain pre-university diplomas in the Republic of Moldova that do not fall within the was requested in Romania, respectively the high school graduation diploma, the general high school graduation diploma, the graduation diplomas of the colleges and basic medical schools, with a duration of at least 3 years of studies, after graduating the general school of 9 years of studies;
recognition of certificates of secondary education in general culture from the Republic of Moldova issued before and after 2011.

It is also about the recognition of short-term university studies with studies in non-university tertiary education; recognition of diplomas and certificates obtained at the graduation of postgraduate studies, postgraduate specialization studies and postgraduate training courses.
