Festive events allowed with participation of up to 250 people

Chisinau, 16 August /MOLDPRES/- Access to public catering institutions in enclosed spaces, theaters, museums, cinemas, libraries, leisure areas, festivities, mass events, sports centers and sports pools with the participation of visitors, spectators is allowed up to 50% of the maximum capacity of the space, but no more than 250 people in an enclosed space, ensuring an area of at least 4 m2 for each person, in strict compliance with the rules of health protection. The provision is set out in the Decision of the Extraordinary National Commission for Public Health (CNESP), which enters into force on 16 August.
Also, according to CNESP, it is allowed to organize public events in open spaces provided the wearing of protective masks if the physical distance of more than 1 meter can not be ensured. The protective mask must cover both the mouth and the nose.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health will ensure: the evaluation of the degree of preparation and the response capacity of the medical institutions and services in case of a possible aggravation of the epidemiological situation through COVID-19; ensuring an adequate level of preparedness of the components of the health system to respond effectively in the event of a public health emergency (bed fund, stock of medicines, vaccines, consumables, medical equipment, access to diagnostic and treatment services); accelerating the growth of vaccine coverage against COVID-19 by implementing targeted information campaigns for different sections of the population on the benefits of vaccination and the risks that may be caused by COVID-19.
At the same time, the ministry will ensure the organization and implementation of diversified immunization services, mobile vaccination points within public institutions and economic agents, regardless of the legal form of organization; organizing the activity of the vaccination centers within the medical-sanitary institutions during the rest days according to the pre-established program; conducting training activities to increase the vigilance of healthcare workers on the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus, including new variants; active monitoring of people in self-isolation and contacts; active monitoring of persons undergoing treatment at home, with the identification of solitary persons and ensuring their free access to medicines; adjustment of the Provisional National Clinical Protocol New type coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The territorial commissions of public health will ensure the revision of all the approved decisions / instructions, bringing them in accordance with the decisions of the Extraordinary National Commission of Public Health of the Republic of Moldova.
