Authorities to work out digital solutions to prevent, control COVID-19

Chisinau, 16 August /MOLDPRES/- The Electronic Government Agency, jointly with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will work out and implement a lot of digital solutions to optimize control of compliance with COVID-19 infection prevention and control measures, according to the August 13 Decision of the National Extraordinary Commission Public Health (CNESP), which entered into force today.

According to CNESP, the institutions are to develop a digital certificate of vaccination by 1 October 2021, online filling out epidemiological form for passengers by 1 October 2021; mobile application for the supervision of persons for whom the regime of self-isolation and / or treatment at home is established.

Leaders of subordinate institutions, enterprises, organizations, agencies and institutions, regardless of form of ownership, shall also ensure a safe environment of activity in the workplace, as well as the active facilitation and encouragement of subordinate staff for vaccination against COVID-19 as the only public health measure to prevent and control infection, in order to achieve a vaccination rate among employees of at least 70%.

At the same time, the territorial public health commissions will facilitate the organization of the vaccination process against COVID-19 and will convene at least every two weeks to discuss the results and challenges of the vaccination process, identifying and implementing the necessary actions; will set as an objective a vaccination coverage of 70% of the eligible population at the level of each administrative territory.
