Week began with heatwave warning in Moldova

Chisinau, 16 August /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) announced yellow heatwave code on 16-19 August in the country.
According to meteorologists, in the period the air temperature is expected to increase to +35 degrees Celsius.
In this context, doctors warn, especially the elderly, pregnant women, children and patients with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, allergy sufferers to avoid sun exposure, to opt for open clothes, preferably made of natural cloth, to cover their heads and take care of hydration.
According to meteorologists, the rains with electric discharges could return today, mainly in the northern region of the country.
