Candidate for Gagauzia elections withdrew from campaign

Chisinau, 16 August /MOLDPRES/- A candidate registered for elections in Gagauzia has withdrawn from the electoral race.
According to the Electoral Commission of Gagauz autonomy, it is about Alexandr Kendighelean, registered on the constituency No15 Bugeac. The withdrawal request was submitted on August 12, and was subsequently approved by the members of the regional CEC.
The elections will take place on September 19. The citizens of the region will have to elect by direct vote 35 local deputies, for a four-year term.
