Chisinau fulfilling commitments to repair several streets in Țânțăreni village

Chisinau, 17 August /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau authorities have repaired several streets in Țânțăreni village, a commitment made for the operation of the municipal landfill.

Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban informed on social networks that the municipality has fulfilled its commitment to carry out repair works on several streets in Țânțăreni commune, according to the civil society contract concluded between Chisinau City Hall and Țânțăreni commune administration, Anenii Noi district.

Ceban also reported that in Țânțăreni commune they are working on the development of other infrastructure projects, such as the construction of multifunctional stadiums.

Chisinau produces about 500 tons of solid household waste daily, of which only 7-8% are sorted and recycled, and over 90 percent of household waste reaches the landfill in Țânțăreni.

The civic contract of the Chisinau City Hall concluded with the authorities from Țânțăreni, for the access to the waste landfill expires on December 31, 2021.
