Chisinau city hall to evacuate unauthorized booths near former Flacara cinema

Chisinau, 17 August /MOLDPRES/- All unauthorized constructions and booths near the former Flacăra cinema in Chisinau are to be evacuated.

Chisinau city hall announced that in order to clear the sidewalk on Ion Creangă Street, it will evacuate all unauthorized constructions and booths. Mayor Ion Ceban noted on social networks that currently a maximum effort is being made to open the access on Ion Creangă Street in the capital on the road side on September 1.

The mayor announced that the works related to the arrangement of sidewalks, parking lots, green spaces and the repair of the underground passage will be carried out gradually.

The repair works of Ion Creanga Street in Chisinau are planned to be ready in March 2022. For the repair of underground networks, change of aqueduct and sewerage networks, repair of roads and sidewalks, the municipality spent about 70 million lei .
