Second vaccination marathon for teachers to be held in Chisinau

Chisinau, 18 August /MOLDPRES/- On 20-21 August, between 08: 00-17: 00, the second vaccination marathon for teachers will be held at the municipal vaccination center. All employees in the capital's education system: teachers and support staff are expected to get vaccinated.
Vaccines from various manufacturers will be available at the marathon: Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Sinovac.
According to the Chisinau City Hall, the action takes place in the context in which the local authorities aim to ensure the educational process with the physical presence in the classrooms of teachers and students.
On Friday, the first day of the event, teachers and auxiliary staff from general education (schools, kindergartens) are invited for immunization, and on Saturday the employees of the General Directorate for the Protection of Children's Rights and those of the Culture Department are scheduled to receive the iCOVID serum.
The vaccine is administered free of charge, based on the identity document, according to the first come, first served principle.
The capacity of the Municipal Vaccination Center is 1200 people per day.
The Chisinau city hall will set up canopy tents near the municipal vaccination center. There will also be street furniture and drinking water, and police and volunteers from the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center will be present to help when needed.
