New head of Moldova's National Motor Transport Agency introduced to staff

Chisinau, 19 August /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Infrastructure and Regional Development Minister Andrei Spinu today introduced the new director of the National Motor Transport Agency (ANTA), Andrei Singereanu, to the structure’s staff.  

Spinu wished success to the new management in the professional work. The deputy PM gave assurances that Singereanu would enjoy the ministry’s every support in the good work of this structure, which has more drawbacks in terms of corruption and good functioning.     

The official also thanked the staff, especially those willing to cooperate in the spirit of correctness and respect. He stressed that ‘’starting from today, the older vicious practices are ended and also more drastic measures will be taken.’’  

At the same time, the minister said that Andrei Singereanu was a specialist in the transport sector, ‘’has a rich experience of work’’ and thanked him for accepting this challenge.

For his part, Andrei Singereanu said that he knew the problems faced both by the transport operators and the ANTA employees in the professional work, noting that a string of actions would be soon undertaken to improve the situation.  The new director urged the employees to be active, specifying that the leadership would appreciate the ideas and solutions due to help change the present situation for the better and the employees exercising their job duties honestly would be backed and promoted.  

Andrei Singereanu has experience of certification, verification and technical inspection of vehicles. He acted as technical expert and consultant in the sectors of ITP, CEMT, ADR, INTERBUS at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). During 2009-2013, Singereanu was deputy head, head of the sector of calibration and verification of tachographs and speed limiters.
