Inter-ministerial working group on non-refundable financial assistance on behalf of Romania set up in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 August /MOLDPRES/ - An inter-ministerial working group in charge of the elaboration of a substantial programme on assistance has been set up at an initiative by the cabinet. The programme will fulfill the duties of the Agreement between the governments of Moldova and Romania on non-refundable assistance worth 100 million euros, signed in 2010 and which got out of force on 28 March 2021.
The press service of the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) has told MOLDPRES that the participants in the first meeting of the working group agreed on the ways of starting negotiations for the signing of a new agreement, in order to access development projects in priority sectors.
The working group is made up of representatives of MAEIE, Infrastructure and Regional Development Ministry, Finance Ministry and Health Ministry.
