Moldovan government approves single methodology at carrying out of state controls in field of labour, security at working place

Chisinau, 19 August /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved the revision of the secondary normative framework which regulates the methodology of analysis of the risks at the carrying out of control in the labour relations sector, as well as the one of security at the working place by the State Labour Inspectorate, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.     

It is worth mentioning that, in 2020, the duty of control in the occupational safety field was withdrawn from ten sectoral control bodies and was assigned exclusively to the competence of the State Labour Inspectorate.  

Thus, the concerned draft provides for the approval of a single methodology of enforcement at the carrying out by the Inspectorate of the state controls in the field of labour relations, labour safety and health, with establishing their risk criteria and the rules of their analysis.    
Also, decision-makers will exclude the provisions on the powers of control in the field of labour safety and health from the methodologies on the state control in the concerned sector, which were earlier enforced by the sectoral control bodies.  

The changes of the normative framework will lead to the strengthening of the analysis of the risk criteria as primordial source for carrying out state controls in the labour sector, labour safety and health and to the promotion of a single normative framework as to the analysis of the risk criteria.
