One third of Sangerei town's bypass road rehabilitated

Chisinau, 20 August /MOLDPRES/ - The works of rehabilitation of the bypass road of the Sangerei town and the segment Prepelita-Saratenii Vechi, which is part of the national road R6 Chisinau-Orhei-Balti, are carried out at a level of over 30 per cent. Statements to this effect were made at a meeting between representatives of the State Administration of Roads (ASD) and the entrepreneur.

“The works of restoration of the national road are divided into two segments with the overall length of about 30 km and registers an implementation progress of over 31 per cent. Presently, the entrepreneur carries out works for construction of embankments and drainage systems, putting the layer of binder and the recycled layer, arranging the intersections and access to estates, as well as repair of bridges and small bridges,’’ ASD said.

The entrepreneur took obligation to fully finish the contractual works till March 2022.

The project has a value of about 36 million euros, allocated to Moldova’s government by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
