Four districts of Moldova to be supplied with drinking water from Romania

Chisinau, 20 August /MOLDPRES/ The districts of Nisporeni, Ungheni, Glodeni and Falesti will be supplied with drinking water from Romania, according to Deputy Prime Minister, Infrastructure and Regional Development Minister Andrei Spinu.
To advance in the implementation of this regional development plan, the deputy PM had a meeting with the director of ApaVital from Iasi, Romania, Ioan Stoian.
”It is about a regional project which we regard with maximal responsibility, The Iasi ApaVital company will construct aqueducts undercrossing the Prut river, in order to supply with drinking water from the Iasi county of Romania the districts of Nisporeni, Ungheni, Glodeni and Falesti of Moldova,’’ Andrei Spinu noted.
“Now it remains for us to start working and bring drinking water to people’s homes,’’ the official added.
