Moldovan president to participate in Summit on launch of Crimea Platform

Chisinau, 21 August /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu on 23 August will participate in the Summit on the inauguration of the Crimea Platform in Kiev, the presidential press service has reported.

Fourteen heads of state and government out of 44 international delegations, including high-ranking EU officials, announced their presence at the event.

Additionally to the Summit, President Maia Sandu will have several bilateral meetings. The Moldovan head of state will discuss with the presidents of Estonia and Latvia, prime minister of Sweden and foreign affairs minister of Austria, as well as with the executive vice president of the European Commission.

Moldova’s delegation will also include the presidential adviser on foreign policy, Cristina Gherasimov.
