National Chamber Orchestra of Moldova to participate in George Enescu Festival in Bucharest

Chisinau, 23 August /MOLDPRES/ - The National Chamber Orchestra of Moldova, along with another 32 top orchestras at the world level, will participate in the 25th issue of the George Enescu International Festival, due in Bucharest and more cities of Romania on 28 August-26 September 2021.
According to the deputy director of the Organ Hall, Silvia Tanase, the concert of the National Chamber Orchestra, conducted by the first conductor Cristian Florea, with soloist, violin player Maria Florea from Barcelona, fits into the series, Enescu and Contemporaries, and will take place in the Auditorium Hall of the Bucharest-based National Art Museum on 29 August.
The National Chamber Orchestra of Moldova three times participated in this prestigious international musical event: in the 2011, 2015 and this year editions.
The George Enescu Festival 2021 is held under the slogan, History Made with Love. It is dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of the great Romanian composer, George Enescu, marked on 19 August.
Before leaving for Bucharest, the concert will be given also to the Chisinau audience at the Organ Hall on 26 August at 18:30. This event is dedicated to Moldova’s Independence Day.
