Moldovan parliament ratifies agreement on grant on behalf of Japan for medical equipment

Chisinau, 24 August /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today voted, in two readings, a draft law on the ratification of the agreement on grant, compiled through exchange of notes, between the governments of Moldova and Japan on the delivery of medical equipment, within the programme on economic and social development.

The agreement provides for the supply of highly advanced medical equipment within the programme on economic and social development worth 100 million Japanese yen (about 776,000 euros).

The grant provided by the Japanese government will contribute to the strengthening of Moldova’s health system, through the purchasing of needed medical equipment, products or services, based on a pre-established list.
