Moldovan head of state to receive presidents of Poland, Romania, Ukraine in Chisinau on 26, 27 August

Chisinau, 25 August /MOLDPRES/ - President of Poland Andrzej Duda will pay an official visit to Moldova this week, the presidential press service has reported.

The Polish leader will land in Chisinau on 26 August and is to have meetings with President Maia Sandu and other high-ranking officials. On 27 August, Andrzej Duda will participate in actions dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Moldova’s Independence.

Also on 27 August, President of Romania Klaus Werner Iohannis and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be on visit to Chisinau as well. The three heads of state, along with President Maia Sandu, will take part in the festivities organized on the Great National Assembly Square on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Moldova’s Independence. Subsequently, several bilateral meetings, as well as a multilateral meeting of the four presidents will take place. Press statements will be made in the end.
