Moldovan cabinet allocates 11.6 million lei for First Home programme

Chisinau, 25 August /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers approved a decision on the allocation of financial means for the First Home project at a meeting today.
Under the document, financial means worth 11.6 million lei are earmarked from the government’s reserve fund, in order to finance compensation programmes underway within the First Home state programme.
The present decision enters into forces on the date of its publication in the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).
About 6,000 dwelling have been purchased since the launch of the First Home programme in 2018 so far. Any Moldovan citizen with ages between 18 and 50 years, who is officially employed at a state institution or private company from the country and has his/her own official sources, can be beneficiary of the First Home governmental programme. The share of the initial own participation is 5 per cent of the dwelling’s purchasing price.
