Moldovan parliament to be summoned for ordinary autumn session as of 1 September

Chisinau, 25 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovan parliament will be summoned at the ordinary autumn session starting from 1 September this year. The instruction on the parliament’s summoning in ordinary session was signed by Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The MPs will convene at the first plenary meeting, at a proposal by the parliament’s standing bureau, after the draft agenda is prepared.
At the session, the lawmakers are to consider a string of drafts from the new parliament, as well as drafts left from the previous legislative periods.
The parliament holds two ordinary sessions per year. The spring session starts in February and cannot exceed the end of July. The autumn session starts in September and cannot exceed the end of December.
