President of Poland starts visit to Moldova

Chisinau, 26 August /MOLDPRES/ - President of Poland Andrzej Duda today came to Chisinau on an official visit. He is to have meetings with President Maia Sandu, other high-ranking officials.
Maia Sandu met her Polish counterpart with the best honours. Moldova’s presidential orchestra sang the national anthems and, under the protocol, the officials were greeted by the Guard of Honour.
A joint news conference will take place after a meeting scheduled at Moldova’s Presidency.
On 27 August, Andrzej Duda will participate in the actions dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Moldova’s Independence, along with President of Romania Claus Werner Iohannis and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
