President attends quadrilateral meeting Moldova-Poland-Romania-Ukraine

Chisinau, 28 August /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu participated, together with Presidents Klaus Iohannis, Andrzej Duda and Volodymyr Zelensky, in the quadrilateral meeting Republic of Moldova-Poland-Romania-Ukraine, organized yesterday, at the Presidency, in the context of celebrating the Independence Day the presidential press service has reported.
"We reviewed the common priorities we have at the regional level and discussed the prospect of joint projects. I want to develop these partnerships in order to build a better future for our citizens ", said the President of the Republic of Moldova.
According to the head of state, the meeting discussed in particular three topics that strongly link the interests of our countries: the importance of respecting international law as a fundamental principle of peaceful and predictable relations in the region; intensifying the European integration efforts of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine and the support received in this regard from Romania and Poland; as well as the need to increase economic exchanges.
"We had a constructive discussion, which proved once again that the Republic of Moldova has true friends and reliable regional partners," Maia Sandu said.
