Moldovan president meets Romanian counterpart

Chisinau, 28 August /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu spoke yesterday with President of Romania Klaus Iohannis, who came to Chisinau to participate in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of Moldova's independence.

According to the presidential press service, the head of state thanked Klaus Iohannis for the support of Romania.

"I am referring to the over 500 thousand doses of vaccine, donated by the Government of Bucharest, to the 6000 tons of diesel, which came to support our farmers affected by the drought and other actions and programs that come in the help of the people ", said Maia Sandu.

Klaus Iohannis assured that Romania will continue to be a loyal supporter of our country, as it was in all 30 years of independence of the Republic of Moldova.
