Moldovan parliament speaker signs in Books of Honour of Romania's Chamber of Deputies, Senate

Chisinau, 1 September /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu today signed in the Books of Honour of the Romanian Parliament’s Chamber of Deputies and Senate, the parliament’s communication and public relations general department has reported.
”I offer sincere and cordial thanks to His Excellency, Mr. Ludovic Orban, President of the Romanian Parliament’s Chamber of Deputies, for the hospitability and warm reception enjoyed by the Moldovan parliament’s delegation. At the same time, I express confidence that the special relations between Moldova and Romania, based on the community of language, culture, history and traditions, represents the truthful nucleus of a common European future. On this occasion, I convey wishes of peace and prosperity to the Romanian nation,’’ the Moldovan parliament speaker wrote in the Book of Honour of the Chamber of Deputies.
The message put down by Igor Grosu in the Senate’s Book of Honour reads: “I entirely believe that this visit will give a new impetus to the inter-parliamentary cooperation between our states, thus contributing to the deepening of the bilateral Moldovan-Romanian dialogue in various activity sectors. I am firmly sure that this visit will fully contribute to the fostering of the unconditional friendship relations between Moldova and Romania and the sharing of a common past and the same European values will allow strengthening our strategic partnership in diverse fields of mutual interest. On this occasion, I address wishes of peace, well-being and harmony to the entire Romanian nation.’’
The parliament speaker, along with another ten lawmakers presently pay an official visit to Romania, at an invitation by President of the Romanian Parliament’s Chamber of Deputies Ludovic Orban.
