Moldova's State Administration of Roads has new acting director general

Chisinau, 1 September /MOLDPRES/ - Sergiu Bejan has been appointed as new acting director general of the state enterprise, State Administration of Roads (ASD). Bejan today was introduced to the ASD team by Deputy Prime Minister, Infrastructure and Regional Development Minister Andrei Spinu and the director of the Public Property Agency (APP), Eugeniu Cozonac.
According to the ASD press service, Minister Spinu wished success to the new director, noting that he had a great responsibility. ‘’He takes over a sector which needs to be attentively monitored, developed and established – without bribe, without making favours to anybody,’’ the minister stressed.
Sergiu Bejan has a rich experience in the academic field, as dean of the Urbanism and Architecture Faculty of the Moldovan Technical University (UTM) and in the designing of roads and bridges. He is also a certified technical expert in the field of road and railway constructions, as well as author of over 25 articles and scientific publications.
The new ASD director finished and maintained the thesis of doctor in mechanical engineering at the Lower Danube University from Galati, the Mechanics Faculty from Braila, Romania.
