Police investigates several vaccination centers issuing fake Covid-19 tests

Chisinau, 2 September /MOLDPRES/- The Inspectorate General of Police announced that the first five criminal cases have been filed regarding false certificates containing COVID-19 results. Both legal and natural persons are involved in these cases.

According to the quoted source, the suspects also issued bulletins for the analysis of the biological sample but also transported abroad people who were known to have false certificates at Covid-19. Documentation actions are being taken on these cases.

Police have also announced that they are conducting an investigation into a possible network specializing in cases of false vaccination. Currently, the employees of the National Investigation Inspectorate are taking several actions to find and document vaccination centers in respect of which evidence is accumulated regarding the issuance of the immunization certificate in the absence of the person, in these cases the actual vaccination does not take place.

In a TV show, the Minister of Health, Ala Nemerenco, announced that the representatives of the ministry also found several abuses in the anti-COVID-19 immunization process, among which the offering of vaccination certificates for some money. The official said that if found guilty, those involved risk up to seven years in prison.
