Moldovan, Slovak officials broach partnership, projects

Chisinau, 3 September /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu met Dušan Dacho, Ambassador of Slovakia to Moldova today. They discussed Moldovan-Slovak relations and their prospects for enlargement, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
Igor Grosu mentioned the positive developments in Moldova's bilateral dialogue with Slovakia and appreciated the consistent support of the Slovak side, both politically and through the assistance provided to our country.
"We express our desire to further promote an agenda of joint actions and to intensify interparliamentary cooperation with the Slovak Republic, both on the size of the Specialized Committees and the Parliamentary Friendship Groups."
The speaker thanked Slovakia for support in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, as well as in promoting the reforms. According to the official, justice reform and the fight against corruption remain a priority for the Chisinau authorities.
Officials also reviewed topics aimed at implementing several development projects in the Republic of Moldova.
