Chisinau, Tiraspol political representatives tackle most topical issues on dialogue agenda

Chisinau, 3 September /MOLDPRES/ - A working meeting between the chief negotiator on behalf of Chisinau, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Vlad Kulminski and the political representative in the process of negotiations for the Transnistrian settlement on behalf of Tiraspol, Vitaly Ignatyev, took place at the Bender-based OSCE Mission in Moldova today, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The political representatives considered the most up-to-date subjects on the agenda and agreed on the need to identify solutions in the interests of the residents on both Banks of Dniester.
The problems dealing with the vehicles with neutral registration plates were on the agenda of discussions. The sides pointed out potential practical mechanisms of optimizing the work of the registration points from Tiraspol and Rabnita and increasing the number of beneficiaries of this public service provided by Moldova’s authorities.
Kulminski and Ignatyev agreed on the re-launch of the activity of the sectoral working groups, especially of experts in the motor transport field, in order to establish technical solutions to the problems appearing in the process.
The sides also tackled other important subjects, such as the supply of the residents from both banks of Dniester with consignments of anti-COVID-19 vaccine, ensuring a good work of the Latin-script schools, removing the obstacles to the free movement, etc.
The next meetings of the political representatives will be agreed upon in the process of work.
