New subdivision created within SIS

Chisinau, 6 September /MOLDPRES/- By an order of the management of the Intelligence and Security Service, today a subdivision was created with attributions in integrity verification which is an integral part of the SIS subunit responsible for defending the constitutional order.

According to the press service of the institution, the reconfiguration of SIS forces and means aims to streamline the achievement of the Service's objectives by turning to good account and generalizing good international practices in the field.

"The Intelligence and Security Service of the Republic of Moldova is constantly focusing on strengthening institutional capacities to prevent and combat the phenomenon of corruption that affects national security," the institution's statement reads.
