Moldovan deputy speaker to attend international conference in Poland

Chisinau, 7 September /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Speaker Mihail Popșoi will participate in Conference -Europe of the Carpathians within the 30th Economic Forum, as co-chair of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland. It takes place on 7 -10 September in Karpacz, Poland, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
The event is attended by members of the European Parliament, representatives of the governments of the Carpathian region, deputies from several countries.
The conference was structured on several panels, in which political, economic, social issues are addressed, including the Recovery Plan for Post-Pandemic Europe, the Strategy for the Carpathian Region.
On September 8, Mihail Popșoi will participate in a panel discussion on "30 years of freedom of Central European countries and strengthening regional cooperation."
Also, on September 9, he will deliver a speech at the Plenary Session within the 30th Economic Forum - The world after the pandemic. Economy, Sovereignty, Solidarity.
The Carpathian Europe conference was launched in 2010. Discussions between representatives of the Carpathian countries aim to strengthen regional cooperation and partnership between these states. At the same time, the conference serves as a forum for the exchange of views and ideas on joint actions for the development not only of the Carpathian region, and of Central and Eastern Europe.
