Moldovan PM meets Slovenian envoy

Chisinau, 8 September /MOLDPRES/- Today, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița spoke with Ambassador of Slovenia to Moldova, based in Bucharest, Lea Stančič. Officials addressed a number of issues on the bilateral agenda, confirming mutual interest in boosting political dialogue at all levels, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
During the talks, Natalia Gavrilița mentioned that the Chisinau Executive is interested in continuing the activity of the Moldovan-Slovenian Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation. The Prime Minister also thanked the Slovenian Government for openness to train Moldovan specialists through the Center of Excellence in Finance.
The Prime Minister expressed Moldova's willingness to start negotiations on the mutual recognition of driving licenses. Our country is also interested in negotiating the conclusion of a Moldovan-Slovenian Intergovernmental Agreement in social security.
The Prime Minister congratulated the Republic of Slovenia on the occasion of taking over the presidency of the Council of the European Union, for the second time, until the end of 2021.
Lea Stančič expressed the support of the Republic of Slovenia in the European integration of our country.
