Moldovan PM meets Slovakian envoy

Chisinau, 8 September /MOLDPRES/- Today, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița received Ambassador of Slovakia to Chisinau Dušan Dacho, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The premier thanked the diplomat for the support of the Slovak Republic to our country in the fight against the pandemic and for the significant financial contribution from the Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation, used to purchase specialized medical equipment to combat COVID-19.
Officials exchanged views on the micro-grant program successfully implemented by Slovakia in the Republic of Moldova in several sectors, such as infrastructure development, solid waste management, education, health, water and sanitation, etc.
Gavrilita also spoke about the need to strengthen bilateral dialogue in order to stimulate economic growth: "We also hope that we will be able to boost trade between our states and create better conditions for our agricultural products to reach the EU market, including Slovakia ", she said.
The Slovak official reiterated the support of the Slovak Republic in achieving the goal of European integration of the Republic of Moldova and supporting the implementation of the current Government's agenda.
