Moldovan cabinet to appoint heads of tax service, customs service

Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/- MPs approved today in the first reading a draft law amending the Tax Code and the Law on civil service and the status of civil servant, which provides for the appointment of directors of the State Tax Service and Customs Service by the Government, at the proposal of the Minister of Finance.

According to the authors of the legislative initiative, the proposed amendments seek to ensure a single approach and unitary policies, which requires the establishment of a direct dialogue of the Government with the heads of the subdivisions of the Ministry of Finance, State Tax Service and Customs Service.
