As many as 862 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 September /MOLDPRES/- A number of 6,891tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 862 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 716 among non-vaccinated people.21 out of these cases are import ones. As many as 273,918 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS),14 out of all cases of infection are among medical employees (4 doctos, 5 medical assistants, 5 -auxiliary staff).

As many as 1,031 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 78 are in extremely serious condition and 6 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 3,504 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,822 are under supervision at home.

Another 598 people have been treated. As many as 261,748 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 14 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,492 people have died of coronavirus in all.
