As many as 681 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 11 September /MOLDPRES/- A number of 7,429 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 681 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 568 among non-vaccinated people.14 out of these cases are import ones. As many as 274,599 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS),3 out of all cases of infection are among medical employees (2 medical assistants, 1 -auxiliary staff).

As many as 1,124 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 116 are in extremely serious condition and 15 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 3,767 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 16,057 are under supervision at home.

Another 512 people have been treated. As many as 262,260 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 15 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,507 people have died of coronavirus in all.
