International poetry festival held in Chisinau

Chisinau, 12 September /MOLDPRES/- The 8th edition of the Renata Verejanu International Poetry Festival, which took place in Chisinau, brought together poets, essayists, artists, translators, composers, performers, artists from different generations at the Eminescu International Academic Center.
This year's edition of the festival took place online for participants from Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy and with the physical presence of participants from several cities in Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
Poet Renata Verejanu said that the project was launched in 2014 by the European Academy of Civil Society in partnership with the Institute of Philology of the ASM and the Teleradio-Moldova Company to support the creation of the writer who is completely missing from bookstores and libraries in the country.
At the same time, the festival has become a good thing for the creative people from the diaspora and for the beauty lovers from the Romanian language space.
The poet is a member of the Writers' Union of Moldova (1990) and president of the International Union of Creative People (2017).
