Over 15,000 patients called ambulance last week

Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/- On 6-12 September, emergency medical teams provided first aid to 15,595 people, including 1,341 children.
According to the data of the National Center for Prehospital Emergency Medical Assistance, the most frequently requested ambulance citizens with respiratory emergencies - 3,852 patients, of which 1,265 people with acute viral respiratory infections.
The requests include those caused by cardiovascular emergencies - 2,627 requests, including 57 patients with acute coronary syndrome and neurological emergencies - 1,835 requests, of which 195 strokes.
During the same period, the teams of doctors were called in the case of 80 road accidents, as a result of which 112 people suffered. After emergency medical care, 87 patients, including 18 minors with various injuries, were transported to hospital.
At the same time, the Emergency Service registered 222 requests due to infectious diseases, 60 requests due to emergencies generated by physical, chemical and environmental agents, of which 16 cases of combustion. The AMU teams intervened in 14 patients who showed acute allergic reactions up to anaphylactic shock, of which 8 people with stings caused by insects.
