Moldovan electoral body accredits 20 international observers for Gagauzia People's Assembly elections

Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/- Central Electoral Commission has accredited several international observers for elections in Gagauzia on September 19.

The central electoral authority today accredited a number of 20 international observers from Germany, Poland, USA, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine to monitor the conduct of the elections for Gagauz-Yeri People's Assembly on September 19.

At the same time, the CEC members validated five seats in the Parliament instead of the deputies of the parliamentary faction of the Action and Solidarity Party who were appointed to hold positions in the Government.

Also, the CEC assigned two mandates of councilor in the district councils of Sangerei and Ștefan Vodă, one mandate of municipal councilor in the city of Edineț and four mandates of local councilors.
