Over 11,000 leases registered with tax body in early 2021

Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/- In January-August, 11,363 leases were registered with the State Tax Service. Also, 3,849 private people were identified who lease / rent real estate, without registering contracts.

According to the data of the above-mentioned Service, 524 private people who lease real estate and did not comply with the legal provisions were penalized with 48.2 thousand lei and fined with 95.9 thousand lei.

The State Tax Service reminds that according to the Fiscal Code, the subjects of taxation of private people who do not carry out entrepreneurial activity and transfer in possession and / or use real estate, pay income tax 7% of the monthly value of the contract.

The mentioned persons are obliged, within 3 days from the date of concluding the contract, to register the contract concluded with the SFS. The tax is paid monthly, at the latest on the 25th of the current month, in the manner established by the SFS.
