New local elections to be held in 15 localities on 21 November

Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission today decided to hold new local elections for mayor in Opaci and Cneazevca.

The local elections will be held on November 21, as a result of the premature termination of the mayoral offices of Opaci village in Causeni district and Cneazevca commune in Leova district, where the mayors resigned.

On November 21, the electoral authority will organize new local elections in 15 localities: Palanca and Ștefănești villages (Ștefan Vodă district); Bălceana village (Hâncești district); Hlinaia village and Cupcini town (Edineț district); Ucrainca commune and Opaci village (Causeni district); Hârtop commune (Cimișlia district); Ișcălău, Pârlița and Călinești villages (Fălești district); Camenca commune (Glodeni district); Negurenii Vechi commune (Ungheni district), Bălți municipality and Cneazevca commune (Leova district).
