Moldovan parliament to convene in meeting tomorrow

Chisinau, 22 September /MOLDPRES/- MPs will convene on 23 September in a plenary meeting starting at 11:00. The draft agenda was approved today by parliament's standing bureau.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the deputies will examine in the first reading the draft of the Railway Transport Code, as well as the legislative initiative on creation of the Railway Authority.

The agenda also includes the draft amendment to some legislative acts, according to which the reduction of the VAT rate for HoReCa will enter into force on October 1.

Also, in the first reading, the draft Law on the unitary salary system in the budgetary sector will be examined. According to this document, employees transferred to other positions following the reorganization of some ministries will be paid the difference in salaries.

The draft laws amending the Implementing Code of the Republic of Moldova and amending Article 2 of the Law on the additional social protection of certain categories of the population are also on the agenda of tomorrow's plenary session.

The draft law amending the Law on the National Commission of the Financial Market and the Competition Law will be debated in second reading.
